you should perhaps think about switching your chain belt for the all leather variety, as it will not eat away at the material as quickly.
Well I went into the local kilt shop this morning.
Tyne Tartans didn't have a long enough leather sporran belt in stock
But they have ordered one for me.
Going into the kilt shop was just TOO tempting though - After browsing all the nice tartans, I actually managed to get out the shop without ordering a kilt but by then I was smitten and went back in a few minutes later and ordered up an 8 yard 13 ounce wool County of Armagh tartan. The building of this kilt will be subcontracted to the same Edinburgh lady who constructed my Teviotdale kilt and it should be ready hopefully by the beginning of September when I'm planning another visit to relatives in County Armagh. So my current count is 18 kilts with numbers 19 and 20 on order.
Why? I can only wear one kilt at a time and the more kilts I order the more work I have to take on to pay for them.
Trefor you need to get that order for your 21st kilt into Richard at Union Kilts when you meet him this week otherwise I'll have caught up with you!!!

Well he is bringing a sample with him so order fulfilment is likely to be immediate Alex!

Not that it's a competition of course...
