WooooHoooo! I have my reservation at the Boston Inn. (thanks Frank) and will be there. Hopefully in my new Maple Leaf tartan Canadian Casual Kilt that has finally been released from purgatory.

Well, a good time was had by all. I'm back safely ensconsed in my hotel room and the rest who are more local have retreated home.

Those of you in the area should try to make the next one.

There are a few pics to be posted but we'll all be looking forward to the article and pics posted in the local newspaper. Yes, Frank arranged for the press to be there. The photog took a number of pics lying on the floor but to his chagrin I think we all managed to maintiain our modesty.

To all, a great night. Good to meet new people who think (and wear) alike. I was surprised to be the only Utilikilter. (Is that a word?)

Though it was a stormy night for arrival, I made it home without a drop in the bucket!

Some of the details in the article are a bit mixed but all in all not bad.

As an aside, I took a quick walk to the cash machine before dinner and in a two block walk I got:

1. Where are your bagpipes? At home.
2. Was there a parade today? Not that I'm aware of. Oh, then when is the next parade? September I think.

3. A honk and a wave from a passing car.
4. A picture taken from a passing car.
5. An older lady with a thick Irish brogue stopped me on the street to chat.

WAY too much fun!

As already said the general information is correct but who said what is a little mixed up. I told my wife that the paper said I have 10 kilts (I only have 5). Since, I didn't want to make the reporter a lier I would have to by 5 kilts this week. She said something about when porcine aviation becomes the norm.

I'm looking forward to seeing the group next month.

My next door neighbor just handed me the newspaper. The picture on the Times website is on the front page. The picture of me showing Cacunn my hose is on the inside page with the article. I will go and get several copies of the paper if any one wants a copy. Also, the whole article is not on the website.
