I have found that Cost Plus sells a small sized brandy sniffer for about $1.99.

It makes a great whisky glass.

    Cheers

    My Dear Jamie,

I am so disappointed. To even suggest that gentleman would ever drink whisky from the wrong glass. We refined folk know that brandy glasses are for brandy and whisky glasses are for whisky, and never the twain shall meet.

I don't know if in your area some liquor stores have nosing glasses in a gift pack with some really good bottle of some good Scotch??? They have the gift packs at Christmas and I got two sets and gave the Bottle as a gift and kept the glassesand it was cheaper than just buying the bottle by it self....

I'm surprised you can't get these type of glasses in the States. If it is Scotch you are talking about it is whisky, by the way. The inferior stuff from Ireland is called whiskey.

Be careful with that one... not everyone likes the taste of peat!

Give them their due, the Irish make a mean glass of Guiness but when it comes to whisky I'm sorry there's just no competition. Bushmills is OK and Black Bush is almost there but they just don't cut the mustard when compared to Scotch. But then I'm biased even with some Irish blood

I have 2 of the Glencairn glasses that I bought at Wilson's in San Francisco (formerly Hector Russell). They are my favorite glasses for whisky. They just fit the fingers right, and are small enough to fit into a sporran to take to a games, where folks are wont to share the contents of their flasks.

Check out this deal though. With shipping from Scotland, the cost for six glasses is GBP 27.65. That's about the best deal I've seen.

In Southern California we have a chain of liquor stores called "Beverages and More"

    They sell them.
