Hmmm. I have a box pleat in the IOS, I guess I should consider this being my first PV kilt. And, it might make a good welcome home gift when I finish here in India.
"A veteran, whether active duty, retired, national guard or reserve, is someone who, at one point in his life, wrote a blank check made payable to "The United States of America", for an amount of "up to and including my life." That is honor, and there are way too many people in this country who no longer understand it." anon

I have been contemplating the same thing Splash, I do wear my 8 yrd I.O.S. whenever I can, however in the summer months my Isle of Skye hangs forlorn in the closet, I shall have to give this some further thought. Knowing from experience the quality of the P.V. used with the Maple Leaf. I would be interested I think.

I would be too. what does CCK charge for the kilt itself?
Convener, Georgia Chapter, House of Gordon (Boss H.O.G.)
Where 4 Scotsmen gather there'll usually be a fifth.

BozemanboB and others,
make sure to check the other thread with the poll attached. The numbers are coming out on there. If you just want material you will probably have to PM him for a price. Of course he would prefer to make a kilt custom for you, that's what he does. PM a few people that have posted on that thread (ie. ccga3356 or McMurdo etc.) about CCK quality and you'll get a more personal idea of the kilt he has to offer.
SO Far: The kilts will start at $230 cnd for a 5-6 yrd.
A full 8 yrd will start at around $400 and go up the same way. Depending on you waist size will set the final price based on materials and labor. If you PM your measurements to MacHummel he can quote you on your waist size plus shipping.
I'm not sure if flashes are included or extra. I'll ask him tomorrow when we do the Owen Sound Festival and ask him to post that later.
Are you all coming on board for a PV IOS????
