That's it, Threebanger. It becomes, as MacWage was emphasizing, a habit.

I just did. Very helpful. I'm going out in public this weekend, so I need to know what I'm doing...

Hi ThreeBanger,
You might like to take a peek at my video clip on 'sweeping the pleats' - it seems to have been appreciated by a number of our brethren . Here's the link:

Oh, and welcome to X Marks, by the way. There's plenty of helpful advice, friendly banter and encouragement here.
My apologies - I just missed a page of postings, and I now see you've already been there

Done that way too many times. It's just habit. I'll do it when I hop into the car when wearing jeans or shorts.
Nah, when you do the pleat sweep, you're keeping the pleats straight when you sit down on a chair, bar stool, etc... Sometimes it is easier, however to just plop on a bar stool without having the pleats underneath. At that point, make sure that the skivvies are clean.

I caught myself "sweeping my shorts" in a local cafe. Made me chuckle. Thnakfully, no one noticed!

What skivvies?
Convener, Georgia Chapter, House of Gordon (Boss H.O.G.)
Where 4 Scotsmen gather there'll usually be a fifth.

I was thinking much the same thing. More a matter of making sure the bar stool is clean...
