I recently noticed a similar link at the Scottish Tartans Museum I believe it's the same thing---we get "Build a sporran by L & M..."

Yes, guys, that custom sporran link on our web site is the same as the L&M sporran builder, with a few differences.
1. Your price is quoted in US$, as opposed to Canadian (which are about the same now anyway).
2. As L&M doesn't sell direct to the public, I assume if you wanted to order from their site they would direct you to the nearest retailer. If you order from our site, you would be ordering from the STM.
Now, as for a few other points brought up, L&M's custom sporran builder is neat, but it is not exhaustive. Someone mentioned brown leather. L&M can do brown leather, easily. Just tell me what style sporran you want and I'll ask them to make it up in brown rather than black.
You want the Canadian maple leaf cantle (or some other cantle from one of their sporrans that you don't see in their Build-a-sporran tool)? Just ask. They can do it. I'll call them up and get you a price quote.
In short, they are more than happy to do custom work, even if you don't see exactly what you want on the Build-a-sporran site. Just let me know.
Aye,
Matt

Just a note to Mac users: Safari doesn't like the sporran builder; use Firefox.

Finally a "video game" for kilties! Sure beats having my daughters whip me at PS2 and gamecube all the time! I like messing around with it from time to time. It's a wonder they have not added more to it as far as some of the options that Matt mentioned. I am sure I will eventually "mess around" into something that I will like and will make my credit card scream mercy!
