Ceilidh in Edinburgh
Yes, the ceilidh was in aid of the lesbian and gay switchboard charity. The band was dreadful, but he dancing was good.

Wonderful pics. Acaig is that a tweed kilt? Trefor is his usual exceptionally dressed. McMurdo I had to check but that is not the sporran I modeled in Fergus. But yes he does make nice sporrans and matching sporran straps I see.

Now that sporran would go great with Panache's pink kilt!

G&L switchboard is composed of voluntary workers who counsel callers, etc. like a "Hotline". They often assist Gays & Lesbians with housing, Legal & Medical referrals, employment, health issues , suicide prevention - you name it.
These kinds of fund raisers are often held to take care of expenses in maintaining the services.

Is that what's called a cravat? I'm thinking that's the one you'd wear (in pale gray) with your morning dress for a formal wedding early in the day. http://www.thecravatcompany.co.uk/howtotie.htm
Beau Ties Ltd. is a fun US source of neckwear...
