May I ask why the brown hose? They look very nice but it's interesting to see earth tones in the hose instead of white or tartan hose for a formal outfit. Is it to match the sporran or perhaps a nod to a charming hose maker of your aquaintenance?
Cheers
Jamie
The brown hose match the sporran.
I didn't want to wear white hose and my black hose just did not look right with the outfit.
Red hose would have been too much and Diane doesn't have the time to make argyle hose or anything like that.
But I like my brown hose. And I think they work.So I'm going with them.
Hey...who's questioning the hose color? Personally, I think it's more of a yellow ochre or a raw sienna than a brown...but it works and it makes the white collar of the shirt more dramatic. I'm firmly in the "let's skip the white hose" camp and this is a good example of why.
The "brown" hose jumped right out at me. Not in a bad way either. I think they work very well. Much in the same way red flashes work with dark kilts with no red in them. If that makes sense...
