Great pictures and your boy is something else, If I may ask how big is he ?
My wife and I want to get our 15mo old nephew a kilt and I really would like to get him a SWK Irish National but I am not sure if a small would work or not.
Just curious, But he sure does look good in his.

I also paricipated in MMA in my youth. Kicks, punches, blood, aches and pains, but we called it RUGBY!!!
Thats funny, I stay away from Rugby because its to rough. I was a football guy myself.

On that note, yeah, I actually tightened the sporran chain a bit in that photo. I'm trying to find the comfort zone with it. Thanks for the tip.

PS, Hows the wind in BC these days?

    Cheers

The one we got for our son in the 19-22inch waist. Which is the smallest I think Jerry offers. My boy fits it small right now which is great because he has some room to grow in it. He loves it! I'm sure your nephew you will as well. But I have noticed that it had everything to do with "daddy" wearing one. Little boys like to imitate their papa's.

    Cheers

Looks great! On a slightly different note... being "The Kilted MMA Fighter" will almost certainly bring a certain degree of recognition, even aside from your skills in the ring/cage. While it's best to be recognized for what you accomplish, from a purely marketing standpoint, a kilt and a "nickname" can't hurt!!

We HAVE to get you into some Highland events, though!

Yes sir, we do. I will be making the training gear with a friend of mine over the next month-ish to begin training for the highland games near the end of January. And your right, slamming a "kilt" into the nickname is a great idea. I'm kind of hoping the kilts and some wins will get us over to Europe or Japan next year.

    Cheers

Very nice kilts man. Cute kiddo. I am a SWK believer myself.

And a fellow martial artist. I did TKD, American Kenpo, and a little Iaido. But I was never tough enough (or brave enough) to step in the full contact arena.

    Good luck!

The Black Stewart is my favorite tartan so far. Looks great on you and the tyke. I have Standard SWK Black Stewart and I concur with everything you've said about the value of their kilts. It's almost magical that they can produce such quality at such a low price -- and with such speed.

All best in your upcoming matches.
