    Great pictures, love the red rock country. Use to do alot of rock climbing in that area when I was younger and a whole lot lighter. Is that a weathered Lamont tartan, it looks great.

    No, that's weathered MacKenzie.

    what did the other hikers think of the kilt or are the used to it by now?
    One little girl asked her parents why I was wearing a skirt. There was also a quartet of Russians who came up and asked "That's Scottish dress, right?"

    Those photos look awesome. Did you have to ford the river at all? It reminds me of my walk along the Middle Fork Gila River in New Mexico. Along the 40-mile river I had to ford it about 200 times.
