I asked for the kilts to be pleated to the white stripe. Beautiful!
Child sporrans, perfect with the 3 tassels.
I also got a few yards of extra fabric to make a couple of wraps for my wife and daughter as well.
My sons have both been asking for their own kilts for a while now. I know they will really enjoy these even more because they can put them on themselves without having to ask Dad to pleat the plaid cloth they've been wearing.
I started to give the kilts to them tonight, but I'll have to wait at least till I get the wraps made for the girls.
Pics to come soon, but I wanted to give Stillwater my appreciation now because the service and product were perfect.
That's awesome! Jerry rules! I ordered my son his first nice kilt from SportKilts tonight. I got him a Loch Nes SK standard, plus matching flashes and tie. My mom is getting him a nice suit jacket. I know he'll look killer in them! Can't wait!!

I've not taken the pics of everyone in their kilts yet but thought I'd share a shot of the small purse I made for my daughter to go with her MacKenzie shawl. I was torn between using the hook closure you see here or a magnetic closure, but my wife said go with this one and she was right. The magnetic would have left the bag looking to plain. I may come in later and edge the flap in a thinner leather to give a finished edge.

That's really nice. I just showed it to my son who has no interest at all. He just rolled his eyes and ran away. He'll catch on someday (He needs a Red Sox tartan) It will great to see you all together in them.
The step thing reminds me of the television commercial for a cell phone network, I can't remember which one, where the reception bars in the background are buildings, trees, mountains etc. Maybe if they used kilts I would remember the company. Good for you and your boys.

I showed my wife the three kilts, and all she said was "Nice quilt" - - women!
Seriously, tell whoever made that quilt (your wife?) that she has an admirer.

That's wonderful, I hope you and your kilted family have a lot of fun with it.
I tried to ask my inner curmudgeon before posting, but he sprayed me with the garden hose…

I hope you bring the whole crowd to the Burns Supper in January.
All the stuff you got really looks great, especially the purse you made the lassie. Can't wait to see the whole crowd when you get them all dolled up.
Nice touch there, CavScout.
