    Then there's the old saying...

"It's easier to run away with your kilt up than with your pants down."

    And much safer, I presume.

He who lives and runs away, lives to fight another day - I think that's a saying from some other service - not the USMC.....

So a Speedo would help supplement the birth control, eh? They should market them that way.

All posts are very funny but very true, too. I like the T-shirt that one of members have, saying: "Zippers down kilts up!"

My guess is a guy who wears a kilt is probably also more likely to produce offspring. Fertility doctors always recommend men switching from briefs to boxer shorts to reduce the temperature of the manufacturing plant down below; so, it just seems logical...

The point is beautifully illustrated by Michael J Fox in Back to the Future I

You know,I had forgotten about this until I saw this post.

I really did seriously injure myself when I was a kid.
I was in a rush to get off to school, and when I tried pulling up my jeans one leg stuck and I fell backwards to the floor an broke my tail bone.
I was out of school for over a month.

I sit on the edge of my bed when I put my pants on, one leg at a time, and have never once in my 49 years fallen down while putting them on. The whole concept seems silly to me.

But heck, another excuse to wear a kilt is a good thing right. I will have to use this on my wife to justify buying more kilts, as she is very concerned about my long term health and well being.
