I like it! I just received my Pride of Scotland form Frugal Corner and it is also really good. Acrylic and machine stitched, yes, but still good. Looks like yours.
And hey, you have hair in that photo!

Thanks for all the compliments, guys. it was a good find!
Greg: Yes, I have hair. Now that I can grow decent sideburns I decided to let my hair grow out a bit.
Hamish, the one I have is the Pride of Scotland tartan. (30 pounds with about a fiver postage and packing)
It's a good kilt for knocking about or a trip to the pub.

What attracted me to this kilt, other than the tartan?
This phrasing in their ad:
"They are not of the same quality as a pure wool kilt (and anyone who tries to tell you otherwise knows nothing about highlandwear!)"
Truth in advertising? weird.
Good review Arlen.

Many thanks Arlen and Andy for the tartan name. I was confused because the Avance Highland website (as opposed to E-bay) lists a 'Spirit of Scotland' but not a 'Pride of Scotland'.
Anyway, following your review Arlen, I have just ordered that very kilt - that'll be No.87 in The Kollection!
Thanks again, and
Take care,
Ham.
