May I ask the name of the bistro? I worked as a waiter at La Baguette in White Station Plaza about 18 years ago.
It is brand new. It's in east Memphis at Quince & Kirby. The fellow that owns it is named Shalom, so it is "Shalome's Bistro." He's the baker & his wife runs the show. Nice folks. The only think that bothers me about the name is that some folks might write it off as a Jewish Delicatessen and it is a French Bistro. In Memphis Jewish deli's get very limited business.

Sounds a bit similar to La Baguette in that when you see the name, you think French. But the menu was Greek.
Are reservations required? If not, I might try to drop in when I get through Memphis. Sounds like good fare.
