can i get some money from you?
I had a random guy ask "can i get some money from you?"
I started my standard, well, I don't really have any spare change homeless-guy speech, when finally he explained that he wanted to buy some scottish money off of me for a collector item. He was badly disappointed....

I was playing on-line poker a few nights ago when I noticed this guy was using Celtic as his poker room name.
I asked-Why the name?,and he said he loved Scotish history.
I asked if he owned a kilt an he laughed an said "No way.I would'nt dare go out in a kilt here in Germany, and would not know where to buy a kilt if I wanted to."
When I told him I own several Kilts an plan to buy a lot more, another guy interupted an asked if I live in France. FRANCE? LOL
They were both taken aback when I told them I live in the States, wear kilts all the time,
and that they are becoming more popular all the time here.
I don't think either believed it so I reffered them to this website.
So if you see a guy named Celtic or Jojo, tell them Tommie says hey.
Still have'nt got over the France question.

I suspected that this is why Alan got the reply he did. The man most likely could not wear his kilt because it would be a safety issue with some of his job functions .

Two excapees from the local brain trust were in Target about a year ago. The guy was talking to the girl and said "He must be from Ireland" and some more I couldn't make out. Then she says "Shhhh! I think they speak English in Ireland!"

Were you wearing purple, gold & white by any chance? Those are the colors of the Minnesota Vikings. Maybe he was a football fan, or, just nuts!!!
