Well im begining to wonder about Ky.
We started out this past sunday with spring-went to summer monday-tuesday it was fall again-and tommorow its supposed to snow.

It's in the low 50s today and I'm freezing my butt off. I can't even fathom subzero temps!

We've been having temperatures dropping to around -10F give or take, but it's the wind that's been brutal. Last night we were getting gusts over 50 mph and windchills in the 30-40 below area. Of course, I walked back from my night class in just a t-shirt and jeans (just too windy for my kilts) and I was fine. Some woman who was obviously freezing and didn't want to be outside took one look at me and yelled "I hate you!"

The overnight low here was -39C with a -53C windchill.
I hate to admit it, but I've decided that I do have a temperature limit when wearing a kilt. Been wearing jeans for the past 2 weeks due to the cold.

Man, talk about global warming... Yesterday, 63 F, today snow, 20 F!?? Tomorrow, more snow. Come on, we are in the midwest, when it snows, people die here.

Here in Boston the weather has been perfect for the kilt. Daytime highs near 40 f. Nights are about 0 to +5. Jeans are one 10 oz layer of about two yards of cotton denim. Kilt is 8 yards of wool, wool kilt hose, nice and toasty, when worn with a long sleeve T-shirt as a top. When the wind kicks above 20 MPH, I throw on a cardigan hoodie. But then my metabolism is kinda high, the spouse refers to me as the high temperature hot water bottle. Spouse wants the thermostat at 60 degrees, and I tend to leave it at 50 degrees. Oh well, I just get used to being hot.
I found a Winter in North Dakota to be cool. I had three nights that I couldn't wear me kilt, as it was thermal clothing city to go anywhere on those nights that it got reeeeaal cold.

Haven't you boys heard of long socks? they're these really fuzzy, warm things that go to the knees and help you stay toasty in the chilly air. It's about 47 or so here, and a little breezy, so we're all about to freeze.

Yeti, you can bring String with you if you move south. We like girls.
