I'm 5'7" and I had my SWK taken up one inch to 23" so it would be at the top of my knee. Body type, proportion, and how high you wear it make a big difference.
Has anyone hemmed an SWK heavyweight? Is it possible or would it hang weird because of the weight of the wool? I've got the Lamont Weathered and length-wise it's about mid-knee or a little higher than that, but I'd like it to the top of the knee. Thoughts?

I'm having three SWKs altered next week, one of which is a heavyweight. I'm having them hemmed to 22''. I like to wear my kilts high. I'll let you all know when I get them back how the hem looks on the heavyweight and show some pix.

My SWK's fit great at 24". I am 6'1" but have real short legs. So wearing the kilt at the naval brings it to the top of the knee where I like it. See SWK Irish National in upper left corner. I have a casual that rides at p***s waist that is only 20" long and sits mid-knee. One of my friends is 6'2" and is all legs, wears a 27" casual kilt and a traditional at 29.5" long. We are all built a wee bit different.

Ok, next question. The hemming seems to have done the trick, (pics forthcoming.) Will the folks at SWK hem it for me? It says not on the site, but I know they are tops when it comes to customer service.....
