Great pics, thanks for sharing! It was nice meeting a bunch of new peeps.
I think I was intent on drinking in the picture that you've got of us in the background. I just finished purchasing a Scottish Heritage kilt, and had to celebrate the new addition to the kilt family.
There were a few group photos taken by Keys, and Red I think. We'll have to see if those show up here or on another thread.
Slainte!

Here you go drobin and Ayin...a bigger pic of the background and the Sonoran Scotsmen. Rest your eyes.

Fantastic pictures, lads. It looks like it was definitely worth the blizzard!
I'm hoping to get to The Prescott and Flagstaff games next year if I can possibly make it. We'll see.

Here's a shot of Retro Red in his new ebay score. Not sure I remember correctly but think its the tartan of the new Royal Scottish Regiment...the combined regiment now....help???
It's the Black Watch tartan.

Hmm, Red had a more elaborate description of it. Something about a new tartan being selected for the new reorganized regiments. But I saw Black Watch too in a seemingly larger sett than usual.

Thanks for sharing the pics, Ron. Looks like it was a great day for you all!
Ayin, what tartan were you wearing? It's really sharp.

I'm wearing the California State Tartan, which is based of the Muir Clan Tartan. Check out this link for more information on it.

I absolutely love the colors of the California/Muir tartan. They jump out at you. The kilt I'm wearing is one of the Sport Kilt "works" which means it only has about 10 pleats in the back. I would love to purchase an 8 yard of the stuff and see the difference.

Great to see the rabble meet in person. Looks like a fun day.
I'm sure the lack of pictures of the Sonoran Scotsmen was do to the fact that "they had solemnly swore they would be up to no good"
Cheers

Thanks! I've never gotten to see that tartan except on SK's website. I love it too! And since I have lived there, feel that it is an appropriate item in my wardrobe.
