I actually know people who have bought 'Multi-Purpose Athame' dirks and sgians, which is probably why I find this cartoon so funny.

Indeed. When my Main athame was missing a while back, I used the only other knife I had that was of the proper size for my altar that I had for awhile. It was one of the old "Rambo" type survival knives...

(No, it hadn't been used for mundane purposes before, it was a leftover from when I was a knife and sword dealer.)
