They're getting their bugs out of the process.
    Pictures, you say?

making a kilt is never that much fun around MY house.
I have to agree w/ Alan, and I think we need pics of the "M&M Game", oh.... and the kilt in process too.

Sure sounds like more excitement than most of my projects! I'm looking forward to the pics, I'm getting my used sewing machine tuned up this week, then LOOK OUT!
By the by Finn, did you by chance do MP School at McClelland? I was there for nuke school in '83.

    1st pic

ok boys, you ask for a pic, here goes...

since that is my first attempt at posting pics, forgive me if it doesnt come thru.

that would be my best friend going at the hem. as she is a trained seamstress, i decided to let her have a go at it first so i could learn form her. we had to "discuss" the manual for 2 hours so we could understand each other and the manual....which is so not written for woman. lol.

the flannel is coming along very nicely, it isnt as soft and floppy as we expected, the pleats are sharp and look surprisingly kilt-like. i will haul out the real camera instead of taking the pics with my cell phone, so they should show more detail and maybe even make a video....just dont know how to post it.

and here is my little seamus waiting patiently for his "daddy" kilt. once we have mastered the adult size, we will be moving on to kids vervion.

to end this very long post...the m &m's make kilting ALOT more fun, it makes the stress of pleats more bearable...lol.. have a good day guys. more to follow later.

    blame the kilt
