Good choice young sir. Even though I was in the Men's Department of the Navy (inside joke) I congratulate you on you decision to serve and let me say "Thank you."

Careful with them semi-trads, they're very addictive. I've seven myself with three more on order...
And, of course I already have the Navy.
You wear it proudly, a good indicator of future success.

Men's Department of the Navy.... I have a guess or two, but not wanting to embarass myself with a public guess, I just have to wonder.

Excellent. I love the tartan, and that's a sharp looking kilt.

Very sharp looking. I've always liked the US Navy Tartan. I personally didn't serve, but my grandfather did, so i've been tempted to use that as an excuse to purchase it.
Quick question, how many pleats are on yours, and how deep are they?

Ill get back to you on that. . . . I am currently wearing it at school so unless I can find a willing lass to count my pleats, it will have to wait until I get home.

I received my USAK casual in the Navy tartan yesterday. This is one beautiful kilt! I'm really impressed with the workmanship and the fit. I got it with the 3 inch belt loops and ordered it in 24 inch length so I can wear it at the true waist. Even thought this is a casual, I see no problem at all wearing this with kilt hose and flashes. I think the USAKILTS emblem at the bottom looks great with it's celtic cross and all.
I'm also waiting on a USAK casual in grey granite. Got an e-mail yesterday form USPS that they have been notified to expect the package. Should be here around next Wednesday.
Rocky and Kelly, thanks for a great looking kilt. You can expect more orders from me for both casual and semi-traditional kilts.
