Forgive my ignorance but I've been seeing quite a bit about the Saffron color kilt and it being Irish... what is the meaning or significance please.
Saffron is the traditional color of some ancient Irish clothing. The saffron kilt is just a nod to that tradition....plus it looks great with a green doublet!

Indeed, the saffron kilt does go exceptionally well with the green doublet!
You make a great first impression, there! (And the second impression's not bad, either! )

..............
I could not agree more.
I have not been a huge fan of the saffron kilt but
with that green doublet it looks really sharp.

You were the official piper at the state capitol for St. Patrick's Day? That's quite an honor, and quite a statement about your talents.
Good work! and nice looking outfit as well!

That's quite an honor, and I see that you represented yourself quite well in appearance as well. I gotta get one of those saffron kilts.
