    They really are fantastic. And they work so very well.

    Hamish, I still refuse to believe you are half so old as you say. These ones date from 1918 and there is no way you were selling them :P
    I know this sort of style went on for a long time and it's sad that they've been replaced by disposable sticky rollers and such.

    Trefor, maybe someone will one day send you a new set from America.

    Correct! I don't go back quite that far! However, the 'military' hair brushes were still popular (with those who could afford them) up to, and through, the 1960s, 70s and probably 80s. Ours all had hand-drawn natural bristle and, even back in the 70s, sold for several hundred pounds a pair.

    I know this sort of style went on for a long time and it's sad that they've been replaced by disposable sticky rollers and such.
    I don't think I'd like to try the sticky rollers on my hair. What little I have left would probably come away altogether!

    TThose are lovely Arlen, and still with their case!!
    I have seen many an item that has lost it's original case, it's great your brushes still have their original one!
