I have seen many companies that expanded and changed their name. To keep some identity, they used the initials of the original name and added something to describe the larger picture. Empire Canvas Works can become EC Clothing, or, EC Works, EC Adaptive, EC Vulpine, etc. In the same regard, Vulpine Adaptive can become VA Clothing, or VA Works, etc
