    You might even find the job easier, as I think you said you had to restrain people - well they will either be laughing, asking questions, or staring with a blank look, when you wear the kilt!

    That's a good point... it might help to diffuse situations before restraint became necessary.

    It's not something I have to do regularly... I'm a paraeducator, and I work with emotionally disturbed high school students. In the three years I've been with the school district, I've never had to restrain a student, but if the situation arose, I'd need to be able to do it.

    I figure that if the Black Watch and other kilted regiments can go into combat kilted, I can go into a classroom kilted... even if it does resemble a combat zone at times.
