It doesn't count as "fishing" if you pick them up off the rocks of the dry riverbed? ;)

The trouble is,that the salmon are at sea(I hope)waiting to swim upriver when the rain comes.I like the sun,but not 3 weeks of it.

Ah rain, we haven't got much of it lately... mostly winds! But the rivers and lakes are starting to look better.

We had been in a drought for a year or so but had one of the wettest April's on record. And have gotten 9 inches of rain in the first two weeks of May. I'll send you some more if you like.

It hasn't rained since we got here.
Glad to hear yours was fun!
I certainly understand what you mean, G.L., from when I lived there. Four months of sunny weather, without even a cloud in the sky, it wasn't natural!!

Congratulations and best wishes to you, Fox! I hope that you get the weather you want. I'm just trying really hard not to ask if your fiancée's initials aren't D.S.

Thanks for the "well" wishes. Maybe because it's late, but the initials D.S are not clicking.

Wow, I don't know how much it rained for you a few days ago, but I can count the number of rain drops that fell on my car. It only rained enough to get the car dirty (the day after we took it to a car wash btw). Like you said it hadn't rained in months, and we go get our car cleaned and washed and it rains. (Perhaps I should wash my car more often).
*Knock on wood* I'm just glad it hasn't hit triple digits yet here. I'm hoping for a good monsoon though. It's been a few years since we've had a really nasty monsoon. I enjoy the storms since we so rarely get them.
