The problem is that L&M doesn't deal directly with the public. You need to go through a dealer, which means I send my sporran to someone like Rocky at USAkilts or Matt Newsome at the Tartan Museum. They then send the sporran to L & M for an estimate. L & M points out it is less than a new sporran and for a sporran which is heirloom, definitely worth it.

On the other hand, I was curious at whether anyone had any actual experience with L&M or another sporran maker when it comes to this problem.
