Yeah . . after careful consideration, I REALLY like the USA Kilt, allot. I agree demolay, I'm all about worthy causes. Every year, my Engine Company collects for "Crusade for Children". Last year, my entire department collected just under a million dollars, the highest amount ever collected on record for the organization. And yes Phil, your vote does count , I appreciate you taking the time to respond. In fact, thank all of you for your responses .
I also checked with the Tartan Ferret and, both are registered there as well. But, I still like USA's kilt. The color just stands out better. Thanks guys.

I've bought a Sportkilt for my son before and I've seen the USA kilts... USA is a much better kilt for the money.

I have a kilt from each. Go with USAK. Can't say enough good about them!

Hands down USA Kilts. I own a sport kilt, and although it is very comfortable, it's lack of pleats and weird front under apron, I would definitely suggest USA over SK anyday.
Rocky at USA kilts has a great product and will show you some great customer service as well.

This is going to sound odd. My USMC Sportkilt is one of my absolute most-worn kilts. I get a TON of use out of it. When I'm working in the yard, when I'm hiking at the park, when I'm lounging around the house With the "sewn down pleats" (i.e., the fell sewn in) it is actually passable out in public.
My other two USMC kilts are from USA Kilts and Matt Newsome, a five yard, thirteen ounce knife pleated kilt, and a four yard, sixteen ounce, box pleated kilt respectively. These, my friends, are KILTS. Rocky (or Kelly) machine sewed the thirteen ouncer, and Matt hand-sewed the box pleat, but each was made to my measurements.
This is a roundabout way of saying, "Why not get both?"
If I was going to get only one, there's no question in my mind that I'd go with Rocky and Kelly at USA Kilts. Good prices, great work, nice guys, good cause.
