The double box pleat looks beautiful. What is the wool yardage required for that kind of kilt?

Thank you all for your wishes and kind words.

Lady Chrystel's Double Box is a 6 yards kilt.

So it requires 3 yards of double width fabric. (approx. 55" to 60" wide)

    Best,

    Robert

    Best,

Upon looking at the video you made, it looks like more material than there actually is, and the swish is eye-catching. Please tell Lady Chrystel that she does wonderful work.

Those are beautiful kilts. I would love to add one of those to my wardrobe in the future. Best of luck!

That double box pleat looks fantastic!

Best of luck to the both of you.
I have always tempered my killing with respect for the game pursued. I see the animal not only as a target but as a living creature with more freedom than I will ever have. I take that life if I can, with regret as well as joy, and with the sure knowledge that nature's ways of fang and claw or exposure and starvation are a far crueler fate than I bestow. - Fred Bear

    Cheers,

Congratulations, and I must say - the Robertson Red is a beautiful piece of work.
