I've never purchased a 'kilt roller,' but whenever I travel I pack my kilts in a rolled fashion. It works great, and saves the money you'd spend on the roller.

P1M posted a tip about using a ladies stocking to transport kilts in - I found that works well too.

Understandable, but if my suitcase gets full of souvenir books or more clothes (which I expect), then I can take the Kilter Roll out and carry it on my shoulder using the strap.

I forgot to post a review! The kilter roll worked perfectly. I had my kilt rolled up for about a week after the gathering and it suffered no wrinkles.
