Well, I had the pipes up on Friday evening with the band at a band gig. The humidity was killer and I wasn't happy with the sound I was producing...not horrible but I had to struggle. I thought it might be the pipes but they are ok and everything checks out, except the reed in the band chanter...it was a bit harder and the humidity must have affected it. I played the blackwood chanter on Saturday with the same level of humidity and it was great. I say all this because I have found that regardless of the kilt I wear, it doesn't help me play better. hehehehe. I thank you in advance for your prayers and good thoughts.
