As a kiltmaker of PV, Poly wool, and tanks, the swing is in all of these. I prefer the strome with it's swing and weight but not all of us live in the weather that you have on the island. It is usually a lot cooler that what we experience in the mid west ie) hot and humid.

As humans, we adapt. Given the tradition of the kilt, with the environmental conditions around the world, we all will adapt to the freedom.
