What a great set, and a couple of 'must base off' outfits as well.

    Thanks for sharing.

Thank you for the pictures. Looks like a very nice time.

Perhaps I could get a job in Italy picking lemons.

    Wonderful photos.

I'm curious about what kind of reaction you received from the Italians as you went about kilted? Did they comment? Assume you were Scottish?

Yes, as usual, they are happy to see a "Scotsman"... for I wear my kilts with the traditional sporran+hose+sghian dubh.

They don't ask me if I'm Scottish but rather what tartan I am wearing.

Many are surprised to learn threre are many tartans that aren't "family or clan" tartan.

    They loved the R.C.A.F.

Then again, no one asked me if I served or not.

I guess they assume I must have excellent reasons.

    Best,

    Robert

Wonderful photos, Robert--thank you for sharing them.

It was very nice of your friend, Mario, to open his home to you and your family like that. It says a lot of good things about him and it says a lot of good things about you

What part of Italy is this?

    Great photos!

    Christopher
