Welcome from Mesa Arizona! Now time for my shameless plug. 
I run a kilt group down here in the valley called the Sonoran Scotsmen. We currently have over 65 members in the group, and we schedule kilt nights usually about once a month, sometimes more, sometimes less. On our kilt nights we do various things. Sometimes we just go out to a pub and listen to good music together, sometimes we go kilted putt-putt golfing (like this Saturday, PM me if you're interested), We do kickball kilted, we go bowling, etc. The point is that we all try to get together and go do fun stuff together in kilts. I've gained many good friends through both Xmarks and the Sonoran Scotsmen group.
