I have always tempered my killing with respect for the game pursued. I see the animal not only as a target but as a living creature with more freedom than I will ever have. I take that life if I can, with regret as well as joy, and with the sure knowledge that nature's ways of fang and claw or exposure and starvation are a far crueler fate than I bestow. - Fred Bear

There are a couple of MacFie clan members here. One is my good friend, The MacFie (of course! ) who, however, rarely posts here.

Places to buy kilts
Welcome! You have chosen your ancestors well! I am a MacLaine of Lochbuie, a cousin clan. Yours is much more numerous, therefore there are more choices for you. I personally can recommend J Higgins, as that is where I bought my most recent kilt, the prices are reasonable, and he is located in the US so there is no customs hassle when the kilt arrives. Also his prices are competitive. http://www.jhiggins.net/. All of his kilts are wool. You might also check on USA Kilt for a kilt skirt for the ladies of your family too. Happy hunting!

Welcome from the west coast of Canada. Look around this site for kilt makers, and talk to some of your local brethren. There might be a top notched maker in your area. Go local and support your artisans!
