Keep on rockin'! I've somehow learnt to filter out the nasty looks and only see the smiles and nods. Amazing how many pretty young ladies give me the smile....

It's also amazing how many pretty young ladies ask what is underneath.

I am still new to wearing a kilt. The negative comments do happen but tend to be few and far between. Now those types of comments just roll off my back. For every negative comment I must get at least 10 positive ones. Never has anyone said "nice shorts" to in my pre-kilt days. Two days ago during a walk across town in my kilt - on two different occasions - beautiful, funky, goddesses made a point of saying how great the kilt looked. Folks I am still the same old guy who used to wear short - but it is the amazing power of the kilt.

When you hit those negative comments just think about the individual you are and that you are willing to express it. Glow in the understated power of the kilt and walk with the cool-confidence that it shows the world.

When I started wearing kilts to the C/W dance bars, I got a lot of positive feedback, a few questions, and an awful lot of prurient curiosity. They'll get over it. I think I've posted a few stories that can probably be found via the search utility.

    Have fun,
    Rex.

I get insulted more in my car than in my kilt. I won't give up either.

I get more negative feedback from my car than I do from wearing a kilt.
