mmmm... coffee good I'd agree it must be a combination of a man in a kilt and the confidence it exudes. Congratulations on a good morning.

Gentlemen...do my eyes deceive me? A Starbucks! Looks like it's time for a cup of joe.

No number; the coffee upgrade was good enough.
If you'd like to try yourself (for a coffee upgrade and/or number), the shop was the Starbucks in Watertown, MA on Mt. Auburn st. If you need someone to try to tag team them into free sandwiches, let me know, I'm hungry.

Having recently acquired a few gift cards to a local coffee shop, and a new tartan kilt, I went out with both to grab a small coffee. I got there, placed my order, then watched and waited as the people ahead of me got their orders. After a few moments passed, a young woman who was making the drinks put out a drink that was essentially what I ordered, but was one size larger. I waited a moment, then asked her if a small was in the works. She said there was, but that it was for the person behind me. She then smiled and said that the larger-sized coffee was mine!
I did end up checking my receipt, and I definitely ordered a smaller size. I'm not 100% sure if the kilt did it, but I may have to try that coffee shop again at some point. :-)
To note, the kilt was a USA Kilts semi-traditional, Prince of Wales tartan. It's awesome.
Hey, that's incredible! I'd recommend, as have the others, IF you're a single fella and she was worth looking at, go back and try for that number!

So next time you take your cup of coffee to the donut shop and see what kind of deal you can get on a pastry to go with your java! There's no telling what you might end up with...

I seriously doubt that it would work for petroleum products. Not much wiggle room there, in retail. Nice though though, I must say.

DotDLL,
I have had my beverage upgraded at the Mt. Auburn Street Starbucks while kilted in the past. The Dunkin on Main Street has upgraded me from a small to Extra Large, and a doughnut, just for being kilted. When I lived across the river in Allston, I used to visit the coffee shop in the Arsenal. The lasses there were writing numbers on the Super Grandes cups....Now in Hyde Park, the convenience store at the foot of Fairmount Hill usually throws the coffee in gratus when I buy the morning paper and pastry kilted.
The POWER of the kilt.

Nice! I'll have to try these establishments kilted, although I think if I tried to drink an extra large caffeinated coffee my head might pop.
