Congrats on getting to wear the kilt. I'll bet that besides being the most comfortable person there, you also look the sharpest. I'd love to wear the kilt at work myself, but I work on a raised platform about 4 feet from a ground level viewing window for the public. I'm pretty sure our patrons aren't ready for that kind of view.

You look good and professional. Any military tartan is exceptionally appropriate. Wear the Army next!
Enjoy!

For a standard comeback to such a statement, I recommend the following:
"Fine. NOW I'm not gonna f*ck you."
Because, y'know, that's exactly what it comes down to.

Don't you think that's a little extreme? Comments like that prove that not every man is irresistible in a kilt.
A standard "I'm sorry you think so." with a quick about face, is much more appropriate for the workplace in which the OP works. And, matches his smart attire.
To the OP, grats and you looked great.

A standard 'insert PC, wussy remark here' with 'insert spineless avoidance here', is much more appropriate for the workplace in which the OP works.
Well, you are, of course, correct. Your approach is definitely more conducive to a working environment. You sure showed me up. It must feel good being you.

Congrats on your workplace victory.
Ironic though that you went with the only authorized tartan that could be legally worn during the prohibition to celebrate the end of that prohibition.
