Those are mighty slick looking. I'm going to have to try that with a rattle snake if I can find one. Something to ponder.

Naw - just send me the deceased serpent. Far less expensive & I'll send you a completed sgian w/o charge. Doesn't hafta be a rattler, though I prefer vipers.
I found the learning curve for casting dead snakes is a bit steep. And they don't give away the materials either.

These are truly deeply cool.
Now I wish I'd kept the head on the road kill rattler I found last month. The rest is in the freezer for when I have time to skin and stretch him. I had thought that the skin would be interesting for my students. Since I am somewhat inexperienced I took off his head lest I manage to snag a fang (Was you ever stung by a dead bee?)
Now I need to go back and see if I can find another!!!!
