I have to agree but there's little I can do because of the violently chaotic change in colors.

What I plan on doing this weekend is going over the stitching again to close in some of the gaps I see in between threads. I may be able to superimpose blue thread over top of the black stitching to help hide it but I think that will be a lost cause.....lol.

There is a way to stitch down the fell without seeing the thread.
What you do is lay out the pleats as if they've been sewn down already. Press the creases down crisp. Open up the pleats and use the interior creases as a giude line. Line up the crease with the center line of the reaveal (just off to the side so they don't stack on top of each other, say 1/32") and sew down the crease line .

That will hide the stitches entirely.

Well, it's done. I took it down to my mother-in-law's to use the machine to make the final stitching on the Velcro and sew the aprons down good. I took these pics before I repressed the Pleats and they still look like they came out really nice....

I tried to get good pics of the pleats while it was on me but it's near impossible because of the print.

    Velcro on the Aprons...

It's wearing really well too......not heavy at all and not too light. I think this will do well on the paintball field.

LOL...thanks. In addition to just relaxing in them, they are also actually for the speedball part of the game I play.

Oklahoma DDay is June of 09....a week-long event of 3 hour mini-scenarios but they have speedball fields as well, These aren't like woodsball or MilSim...In speedball, you use inflatable bunkers to hide behind and the games are timed. You may have seen them on ESPN2.....
