I vaguely remember reading about someone who had Matt Newsome design a contractor's Tartan, but I may be wrong.

Few are on the front lines, but the team is huge - goes all the way back to the guy who mines the ore to make the weapons and the parents who gave us life and raised us to want to serve... They are team tartans.
If you're helping make the term "bracketing" obsolete in the Artillary world, more power to you.

I wear a "Leatherneck" to honor the Marines whom I admire; I have no personal Military connections whatsoever.

Coming late to this thread, but haven't read anything that I dis-agree with.
Heck the leatherneck tartan is so down-right Bee-F@%$*g-Utiful, that it would be a shame to limit it only to us Marines.
But then I'm a little prejudiced towards that tartan!
OH, and fantastic work on that system!!! Keep it up!

Hi Ron,
We've replaced bracketing with more of a Deer Hunter approach, "One shot, one kill."
I hadn't considered the idea that the tartan celebrates the whole team. Thanks for pointing that out to me.

As a navy vet, I too say wear the tartan you want to honor all of our vets. One other suggestion, perhaps your company has a logo or something you could have made into a kilt pin.

Go for it.
For example - how many people do you see wearing camouflage. Do you think all of them are in the military? Just make sure that when you do wear the tartan of one of the services, you look good. Some of those camo wearing folks need a bit of help.
