Other than a few folks asking me if I was a piper, most noticed the kilt without feeling a need to comment on it. I loved that. I thought this could become just another choice of apparel in my closet. So I wore it again two days ago, this time to a concert in the park. One gentleman introduced himself to discuss my tartan and to tell me about his, which he wasn't wearing at the time.
Welcome from Eastern Washington State. The kilt is a great conversation starter. I still use it as a way of recruiting folks for the Spokane Highland Games and the St. Andrews' Society. But finally, it is just another choice of apparel in my closet.
