Fascinating. I've been to the one on Orkney (Ring of Brogar), yet I've never visited this one which is much closer to home!

Very nice pictures. Yet another place I would love to visit. Thanks for sharing them P1M.
I have always tempered my killing with respect for the game pursued. I see the animal not only as a target but as a living creature with more freedom than I will ever have. I take that life if I can, with regret as well as joy, and with the sure knowledge that nature's ways of fang and claw or exposure and starvation are a far crueler fate than I bestow. - Fred Bear

Looks like a good day out with the dogs. I went to see the Callanish stone circle on Lewis - http://www.stonepages.com/scotland/callanishhi.html
and also Carloway broch - http://www.megalithic.co.uk/article.php?sid=503
you should try and visit there when you are in Arisaig. The bridge to Skye is toll-free now and CalMac run a ferry from Skye to Lewis.

Excellent! How did the dogs like the cows? Did they get to play together?
