The Campbells, Munros and Grants all adopted the Blackwatch as their clan tartan (these were some of the earliest "set" clan tartans. Tartans as we know them, assigned to specific clans were primarily a 19th century phenomenon and a lot of them were fantasies developed by the Sobieski brothers.

from WV! Ebay sometimes has used youth kilts at great prices. Many of these are wool. To answer your question about the MacGilivray tartan: Yes there is one and it is very similar to the MacDonnell of keppoch. I found this out as I thought I bought MacDonnell of Keppoch tartan for my great kilt/belted plaid, but found that it was missing a stripe. After further investigation I found that it was MacGillivray!
