Arlen,
That's very sad news. The stress on both of you will be great, but I'm sure you will both weather the storm. I also trust Pip will find a very good home.

OUCH! I'm sorry to hear you have to leave Pip behind. I am glad you found a no-murder adoption center though. And welcome to the states man!

Arlen, my heart goes out to you and Pip. Know that this moment - sad as it is - is not an end but a new beginning for you both.
Take Care.

Contact the local SPCA or one of the animal rescue groups. They might know of someone willing to take care of your dog and also be willing to get him on a plane when he's well. People have big hearts and given the chance they will amaze you with their generosity!!
Good luck, I'm certain this will have a happy ending.

Bittersweet. A new time for you both. But look what you have to look forward to here in the States!!! I can't believe you're actually getting over here. Seems like you've hit so many road bumps, and now this is it. Congratulations man. I know how hard this has been for you, but from now on it's all blue skies ahead!

Sadness and joy but am sure Pip will be fine and you will at least be reunited with Diane after those previous delays. Have a safe and good journey my friend!

How very heartbreaking, but I'm sure everything will work out in the end. I hope I never have to be put in a situation like that.
Have a safe trip!

Arlen, sorry to hear about your dog. They do become a true friend and a real part of the family. I'm sure the decision was a very difficult one to make. That decision mixed with your desire to get to Diane must make for a tough time. I'm sure both you and your dog will pull throuhg it with new families of caring people. God speed to you both on your journeys.
