Good luck Alan!
I only have a few weeks until my next games--then the following one is only 32 weeks after that. This week I'm ONLY hitting the gym--giving my throwing a rest so I can come to it freshly. I've REALLY tried modifying what I do in the gym to mimic the movements I make while throwing.
Instead of doing 'standard' exercises for the impacted muscle groups--I'm doing exercises that as much as possible mimic the same movement/motion etc.
Not sure if it will work, but it's added a new life to my gym life and kept it less boring ;-)
My plan is to finish this week in the gym--then do a solid week of throwing--focusing MORE on technique and not paying attention to height/distance.
I'll see what happens ;-)
P.S. LOVE ''owning the stone'--I feel that way with WOB!!!!!!! Nothing but power--that weight and that bar---MINE ;-)
