I'd like to add my congratulations also, Bradley. You are looking very good indeed but (sorry, there always has to be a "but" from me!!) I find your black tie hitting me in the eye a little too forcibly. Maybe a pale yellow one to match the yellow stripe in the tartan and your flashes would be kinder?

Nevertheless, it's a fab look.

I rather like my black tie. A pale yellow one would look good though, you're certainly right there. Truth is I don't wear ties all that often, so I only have a few in dark colors and a few in patterns that would not work with a tartan kilt.
