I'll be there with bells (by bells I mean a kilt) on.
Greg, I expect not only to see the pipes... ith:

I had been hoping to pull some happiness from nothing, but for naught.
It is VERY unlikely that I will be in attendance.
Sorry, guys.

Well, I'm in Chicago and looking forward to Friday.
It looks like the Duke is a bit away from the El, and it's best to drive. But I hear parking is tough to find, and I've seen references online to a mall nearby where you can park. Where is that mall -- or is there a better place to park?
Thanks!

The mall is the Century City Mall, and it's at 2828 N. Clark a few blocks south of the Duke. Parking other than that is metered, and can be hard to find.

Just to clarify, The Duke is on Clark Street between Oakdale and Surf.

At that point it's about two blocks East of Halsted Street. If you can get to Halsted and Clark and walk Southeast down Clark about three blocks it's right there.
As Brewboy pointed out there is a parking lot that's part of The Century and those of you with little patience should consider just heading directly there rather than cruise the neighborhood looking for a spot.

Though Glen C almost always finds street parking near the Duke (I always head for the parking lot.)

So let's have a quick show of hands so we have an idea of how many intrepid Xmarksers are going to make it tomorrow night. I told the adorable barmaid with the Betty Page hairdo that I'd try to let her know how many were going to show and she said that she would try to be sure to make some room for us.
I'm coming!
