Might as well have the best!

Filson's of Seattle got their start during the Klondike Gold Rush of 1897 provided heavy-duty clothing to the Cheechakos. My flask is a Filson, but maybe someday I'll own one of their jackets.

I sometimes refer to Filson as the "Barbour of North America" -- both brands are deserving of Filson's motto, "Might as well have the best!"

Spend a little extra and get a Barbour. They come in several styles and cuts. You will not be disappointed. I bought one 4 years ago; it has been around the world with me and only gets better with age. I went with 3/4 length Beaufort model.

Can't vouch for their jackets, but their bags are top shelf all the way. I have two and have beaten them to death, but they still get the job done.

My husband and I both wear Barbours. We have both waxed cotton and modern fibers. For here in the great PNW, they are the perfect garment.
