Yeah, I ordered something from them. It took several weeks to get here, which is fine because it's coming from the other side of the planet, but when I'd e-mail him asking for my order status or asking when I could expect it, I got nothin'. And I e-mailed multiple times. I was worried I was out the money I had PayPal'ed.

Then when it got here, it was nowhere near the right size.

He couldn't understand why I gave him negative feedback on eBay.

I'm sincerely happy your experience was better than mine!

BTW, is there a link you have to the ebay store? I couldn't find it.

I'm in the market for a prince charlie and vest...yours looks quite good for the price.

I'm not entirely sure if the moderatorship is ok with me posting that, so just in case they're not, just do this:

    - go to ebay.com and search for these keywords: geoffrey kilt -- but make sure you check the "search titles and descriptions" box or you won't find anything.

    - if that still doesn't work, fire me off a PM and I'll send you a proper link.

SELF-EDIT (due to Panache's greenlight. Thanks for the clarification, BTW): http://stores.ebay.com/GEOFFREY-MADE-FOR-SCOTTISH

You are reviewing a product, it is fine to put a link (as long as it doesn't link to a site that violates any of our forum rules).

Congrats!! Wear it with pride. As to the fur shedding...I'm no expert, but I think it may reflect poor tanning of the skin. For fly tying it's one of the signs of poor tanning. Yhe skin should firmly hold the hair/fur. someone with more experience may be better able to answer, mebbe our sporran makers like Donnie.

I had seen their wares on ebay before but was quite wary of the product and the potential poor service coming from overseas. Glad to know you had a good experience.

    CDNsushi,

Congratulations on your new acquisitions. What material did they make the pc and waistcoat from? Is it a wool or a "genuine simulated wool?"

    Good question.

    From the website description:

    Material: 100% Pure Wool Barathea

Buttons: Square metal buttons with Rampant Lion image

    Lapels: Shinny Satin cloth
Hence, it should be wool. They are honest about all their products -- e.g. they never pretend that their kilts are wool -- it says "acrylic" right on there... But the jackets are all wool it seems.
